Yes. The Motivd platform and the sites we build are built with SEO in mind. Our own site uses canonical URLs, hreflang for English and French, a full sitemap, and meta titles and descriptions on every page. For apps and pages you build with Motivd, you get a standard Next.js codebase that you can extend with your own meta tags, structured data, and SEO best practices.

What are Motivd's SEO defaults?

On the Motivd website we use one canonical URL per page, alternate language links (hreflang) for en/fr, Open Graph and Twitter card metadata, and a sitemap that includes all localized routes (home, about, FAQ, solutions, use-case pages, case studies). Priorities and change frequencies are set so search engines know which pages are most important. The robots.txt allows crawling of the site and disallows only /api/.

The Motivd website itself is served by Next.js and exposes a dynamic sitemap.xml and robots.txt. The sitemap lists every locale (en, fr) and every path: static pages, FAQ slugs, solutions use-case pages, and case studies. The robots file points to the sitemap and allows all user agents except on /api/. For projects you build with Motivd, you can add a sitemap and robots using Next.js App Router conventions or your host's tools.

We support English and French from day one. Each page has a locale in the URL (e.g. /en/faq, /fr/faq). In the metadata we set a canonical URL for the current page and alternate language URLs via hreflang so search engines can serve the right version by region or language. The sitemap includes both locales for every path, which helps indexing and reduces duplicate-content issues.
